Abu Idris is the founder of Dabke Inc and one of the most recognized dabke instructors in the Arab community. Before launching Dabke Pros Academy, he taught hundreds of students through in-person workshops, online courses, private lessons, and community events across North America.
He created beginner-friendly Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 dabke workshops that helped students progress from basic steps to more advanced combinations and performance-level confidence.
Known for making dabke easy to learn, fun to practice, and exciting to perform, Abu Idris is now bringing his teaching system back through Dabke Pros Academy.

No. The classes are beginner-friendly and designed to teach students step by step.
We offer kids classes for ages 6–10, youth classes for ages 11–17, adult beginner classes, and private training.
We run cohorts year-round, with a new group starting every 4 weeks. The next cohort begins at the beginning of August 2026. Exact class times will be confirmed based on registration demand.
Yes. Students who complete the 4-week Dabke Foundations Program will receive a certificate of completion.
